PAGE THREE
TOOLBARS
You can view or hide tool bars and you can add or remove items on some of the tool bars.
Go to your main menu bar and click on view.
Select toolbars.
The image to the left shows the toolbars available.
You can easily turn the viewing on or off at any time.
As you can see from my settings I have web browser, effects, histogram, and photos turned off.
If I was going to process a roll of photos for a website, I could turn the photos one back on.
You can choose to have as many or as few toolbars in view as you want
You can also move your tool bars to be on top or side by clicking on the little lines
and moving the toolbar to where you want it.
I like to put all mine at the top, but the choice is yours. Below you will see three images. The one way to the left is with rulers on top and side. Then there are two images of rulers (sized down for display purposes to 80% of normal) the first is FLAT TOOLBARS Options selection and the second is the Display large icons and text option.
Select the size of your tool bar by checking either the first box - for large icons or the second box for smaller icons.
Leave the bottom two boxes checked.
On to customizing your tool bars.
Only the selection, web browser, photo, effects, and browser toolbars can be customized.
Highlight one of these toolbars and click customize.
The customize toolbars box will open.
The left side of the box shows all the available tools and the right side shows your toolbar as it is set up.
Scroll down the left side and you will that there are lots of tools to select from.
Scroll down the right side and you will see all the standard tools and some separators.
Click on one of the selectors on the right side
Move to the left side and go down toward the end of the list and find the select none
tool and highlight it.
Click add and you will see the tool added to your toolbar.
You can either click close and leave the tool there, click on the right side and highlight it and hit remove, or click reset. The choice is yours.
